Two robed men, possibly monks, offer incense at an altar inside the Guan Yin (Kuanyin)Chinese Buddhist temple at Pitt Street in Penang. The name of the temple is given in Chinese letters on a cloth over the metal figure of the Buddha. The walls of the temple are decorated with cloths depicting figures and flowers. An electric light with glass shades hangs from the ceiling. [EB 09/11/2022]
