“Mortuary of Tεndaan Tiroog of Bubiuη.
Killing the suona sheep.” [Fortes' Annotation on P.135473.MF]

A group of men sitting by a yir (house). Two men, one obscured by the other, sit looking in the direction of the camera. To the right, four men gather around an obscured object (presumably sacrificing the sheep). Two of the men sit with their backs to the camera, whilst the other two bend over. The house is decorated with hanging gourds, a sword or knife, whisks, etc. Part of funeral ceremony. [IG 7/8/2008]
