Description

“& covering it over w. dust & bits of rubble.” [Fortes' Annotation on P.135215.MF]

Three men covering the trench used to cook an egg and yam mixture as part of a funeral ceremony with dust and rubble. Two men squat with their backs to the camera, one of whom is cropped by the left frame. The other man bends over the trench and is partially cropped by the right frame. [IG 15/7/2008]

Physical Condition: The negative has been cut or ripped between frame 13 and frame 14, and both sections are stored together.
