Other Numbers: Williamson’s reference of film roll number 40 and individual frame number 13.

Place: Yatung, contemporary spelling of Yadong, is also Known as Dromo in Tibetan. The site for one of the three trade agencies set up the British in Tibet, the others being Gyantse and Gartok. Place: The entry previously recorded place as “India; Sikkim; Yatung” but research shows that Yatung is in the Chumbi Valley region of Tibet. The record has been amended accordingly. [JD 19/1/2007]
