Description

A family portrait of Balkrishna, probably a Nepalese official as he is wearing daura-suruwal (Nepalese dress), his wife and three daughters, all wearing saris and with bobbed hair, and two young sons, both wearing jackets, shorts, and holding hats under their right arms. The group stand in front of wooden buildings that appear to be part of Balkrishna’s residence. [JD 21/4/2008]
