Description

F.H. Dufty studio photograph of two Fijian men dressed in white cloth isulu skirts and wearing fringed white barkcloth iwabale shoulder sashes and waist sashes, one with a white barkcloth vesa round his upper right arm. One wears an elaborate hair ornament, the other has a small white shell fronting his black neckband. Both hold kiakavo clubs. Note the photographer’s clamps.
