Full-length oblique profile studio portrait of an ‘East Indian Immigrant’, probably a man under indenture in Guyana. The man wears a short jacket over a striped shirt, and a dhoti (loincloth). The man is adorned with ear and neck ornaments, and the studio is decorated with a curtain and an upholstered chair with fringing.
