Full-length oblique profile studio portrait of an ‘East Indian Immigrant’, probably a woman under indenture in Guyana. The woman wears a patterned bandana, a sari over a blouse and skirt, has bare feet, and is adorned with neck ornaments. The base of a head stand can be seen under the woman’s skirt.
