Description

“Trophy of Oil bowls. One duck shaped. One turtle shaped. Some are carved to look like Cocoa nuts. Some are Cocoanuts. The black fringes of Water weed are worn as a kilt by men (with under kilt of paper rubbery cloth (bark). The yellow fringe is a girl’s dress.” [Gordon Cumming’s annotation, JD 6/1/2012]
