54. “Peggy's photos of the Residency, Gangtok, Spring 1934”
54e. “The landing”. The wall is festooned with various trophies: tiger skin, animal head below which there are a Bhutanese helmet (“cham-sham”), sword (“patang-ben”), and shield (“dali”). Below that there are various vessels for ale (chang), spirits (arak) and tea (ja).
