Description
A group of fourteen Nepalese coolies cooking a meal at Balkrishna’s house. The group are standing or sitting around a fire that has been lit in the corner of two dry-stone walls built into a hillside (possibly the ruin of a house?) with corrugated iron sheets attached to the walls to provide shelter. The transcription of this album by Mark Turin and Sara Shneiderman was carried out with reference to Krystina Cech’s catalogue list alone. Alex Nadin has since revised their cataloguing by systematically matching their records to the images.
