Group of seven European men, including from left to right, Captain E. St.J. Birnie, Doctor C. Raymond Greene, Major Hugh Boustead, Hugh Ruttledge, Edward Oswald Shebbeare, George Wood-Johnson, and Frank S. Smythe. The men were part of the 1933 Everest Expedition team, and photographed on the roadside at Gangtok, (possibly at the Residency?). [JD 21/4/2008]

On Cech’s list describing prints:
