“Pack reindeer with halter, metal bell (brought; cf. ‘kazalla’ shown in photo No. 15.98). Saddle, saddle-bags of skin lined with birch-bark & containing flour (‘inwak’), and ‘tunsuk’ (= birch-bark box for crockery) on top. One rug (‘kumalan’) is spread out between pack & saddle, another is folded in two below ‘tunsuki’.” [Lindgren’s annotation, JD 20/9/2010]
