Mamen’s description: “Six years old child at mother’s breast.”

It is normal for also Mongols in old time to breast feed a six years old child especially when the child is the youngest of the children, otherwise a child would be stopped from breast feeding in his or her two or three years when the mother get pregnant again. One more possibility here is that the child’s age can be six in local counting, that is considered to be one year old when he was born, and the child in the Photo does not look six year old in western sense.
