The prints correspond to negatives from A.7.LIN, A.8.LIN, A.9.LIN, A.27.LIN, and a typed list describing the negatives for the prints in this album was found in this album. This list has now been archived as BA2/4/16. A printed slip of paper found from this album has also been archived as BA2/4/16. It reads: “Visitors may accompany the herdsman on his daily check of Britain’s only Herd of Reindeer. Departure at 11a.m from REINDEER HOUSE, a stone building above the Ski Road, just beyond the Glenmore Camp site, near Aviemore, Inverness-shire.

A xexored manuscript describing the matching negatives for the prints in this album has also been archived as BA2/4/8.

Place: Hailar Mosque is located on Libaisi Street Hailar Hulunbeier, it is the earliest and the largest mosque in HulunBuir.
According to historical records, the original mosque was built on 1912. Mosque has been moved from the East Street to the Gongzi Road on 1922, and been reconstructed a small temple. In 1926, due to the increasing population of the Hui, the mosque has been moved from the Gongzi Road to the city center, namely, is Libaisi Street now. It has been rebuilt, expanded and altered in many times and then becomes the current building.
In 1944, the old hall has became a dangerous building, Hailar governmental Committee and the Government decided to rebuild a larger worship hall in accordance with the urgent demands of the broad masses of Muslims,and combined with the needs of urban transformation. After four years of reconstruction, an Arab style building and a worship hall with a cost of more than 1.38 million RMB, has been completed in the July 24, 1988. Cultural Group: In 1920s, there were Tartar people living in Hailar and built a mosque in 1921. The address is in the Dongtoudaojie (the first east road). There were 240 tartars in 1955.
