Buryat Ugurda is Mideg-in Mijid who is the first from left in the front. Mijid was appointed as the head of the Buryat Banner in 1924.
The man at the right next to Mijid is Jamsaran-u Ayushi who was appointed as Galda for the left wing of sums when the Buryat Banner was expended in 1929. Next to him at right is Shoimpol-in Dashi who was appointed as galda for right wing of sums. The little boy at the left is Sewangjab, the little girl in front of Ayushi is his daughter Sendejab and the man at left behind is Namdag-in Babuu, Tugurlderuv’s grandson. [U. Borjigin, 7/10/2002]

It reads: “Visitors may accompany the herdsman on his daily check of Britain’s only Herd of Reindeer. Departure at 11a.m from REINDEER HOUSE, a stone building above the Ski Road, just beyond the Glenmore Camp site, near Aviemore, Inverness-shire.
