There are different titles for the champion wrestlers such as Arslan (lion), Bar (tiger), Gardi (phoenix), Jaan (elephant), Nachin (falcon), Börguö (eagle), Buha (bull) etc.. Above these titles there are some modifying titles like Aburgu (great).

There was a famous Daur wrestler called 'Gulege' from the 1930s, and this may be him. [Information by Huijun Meng, Education Department, Ewenke, JD 17/4/2015]

People call this man 'Gu buku' or 'Anban'ni buku', Buku means Wrestler, and he had the best wrestling skills at that time. He is Guifu Anben (Vice-general) hired wrestler, his given name is Gulege, family name is Meredeng. His father's name is Zhenggou.
