Description

Three-quarter length portrait of Inuit family? group consisting of a man, woman, and child, all standing in a snowy landscape. The man wears a pale coloured, possibly cloth?, parka, with narrow dark bands at cuff and base, cloth? trousers, and de-haired sealskin boots. The woman wears sealskin? parka with a wide, roomy, and pointed hood, and pale fur narrow bands around edge of hood, on lower sleeve, and even base that ends at the thigh. Her sealskin trousers end at the knee with pale fur trim and fringing. The child wears a front opening parka with pale fur trim along edge of hood, front opening, and lower even base that ends at thigh with caribou skin fringe.
