Description

F.H. Dufty studio carte-de-visite photograph of two Fijian women, each respectably dressed, with off-the-shoulder vinivoa (“pinafore”) bodices and barkcloth isulu skirts. Notice the feet of the photographer’s clamps on the floor behind them - one plain, the other ornately cast.
