On Catalogue Card for duplicate print P.271.ACH1: “Native women using scurrilous language to each other.”

Two Aboriginal women, wearing grass? skirts and one holding a spear, “using scurrilous language to each other”. This is accompanied by the woman beating her long stick on the ground and throwing sand and dust into the air. Three men holding shields and spears, and one wearing a cloak, are in the foreground, and a large crowd of spectators are in the background watching on. [JD 23/8/2007, updated WV 6/4/2009]
