On Catalogue Card for duplicate print P.224.ACH1: “Fire-making.”

Four Aboriginal men showing two methods of fire-making. In the foreground two men are using a fire-drill to make a fire. In the background two men are rubbing a piece of wood on a tree trunk? to make fire. To their right is a hunted emu, a stone axe, and further back a spear and two throwing sticks. Three dogs are present. A family of Kookaburra (Dacelo giganteus) are sitting in an Indian rubber tree. [See Blandowski 1862, fig. 30]
