On Catalogue Card for duplicate print P.274.ACH1: “Illegible. ? Dancing native.”

Composite plate of eleven drawings including a full-length frontal portrait of an Aboriginal men dancing. He is sharpening his sticks. The man has cicatrisation or body paint on his chest and arms, wears a loincloth, and is holding a spear and club up horizontally. Surrounding the drawing of the man are ten drawings of shields (front and backs), clubs, tridents, and spears. [JD 23/8/2007, updated WV 6/4/2009]
