On Catalogue Card for duplicate print P.298.ACH1: “Native tomb of a fisherman on the Lower Murray R.”

An Aboriginal tomb of a fisherman of the Lower Murray River. The tomb appears to be constructed from thatch over a supportive structure made from branches, and with three bark? panels as a doorway. An older Aboriginal man stands to the right of the doorway wearing a cloak and holding a spear upright. [JD 23/8/2007] [WV 5/5/2009]
