Place: The Place field was previously recorded as being “?Asia”, but based on the clothing, parang style sword, and architecture of the surrounding series, the photograph relates to SE Asia, and probably Indonesia or Malaysia. The Place field has been amended accordingly. [JD 12/3/2010]
Based on the individuals' headdresses and building styles, it is likely that the series relates to Sumatra, Indonesia, probably Batak of North Sumatra. The Place field has been updated accordingly. [JD 6/8/2016]
