Map illustrating the distribution of Early Bronze Age axes across the British Isles, Scandinavia, and nearby continental Europe.
The legend indicates three distinct types: 
Type I (solid black circles) are concentrated heavily in Northern Ireland and southwest Scotland, with scattered finds elsewhere.
Type II (open circles) are found across Britain and Ireland, as well as Denmark and Southern Sweden. 
Type III (half-filled circles) are more sparsely distributed, mainly in England and Southern Scotland. [JD 22/12/2025]
