Description

A close up view of an ancestral figure inside a shrine. The head of the figure depicts a pointed coiffure with horn-like protrusions; the face consists of a high forehead with horizontal raised dots and vertical linear scarification marks, almond shaped eyed, nose, mouth and ears; there are scarification markings on the sides of the temples and diagonal markings on the cheeks. The neck is coiled and adorned with a necklace of seeds. In the background are poles and mud walls.
