Description

A large mud figure of a chief sitting a raised platform inside a building. The seated figure shows a male with a rounded face with painted spiky hair and a feather on top, wearing a white tunic decorated with patterned designs, arms to either side with white bracelets, in one hand the chief is holding a white rolled up paper?, he is sitting on a raised platform, with legs apart and wearing white shoes. In front of the figure is a pile of cowrie shells. The walls of the interior are smooth and the roof is pitched and made of wooden rafters.
