Description

Young African woman carrying a small child standing posed for the camera. She is wearing a printed cotton wrapper skirt with a blouse beneath and a head cloth wrapped around her head. The designs on the cloth resemble adinkra motifs (originating from Northern Ghana). The child is wrapped in a cotton cloth and wearing a large cotton blouse which is falling off one shoulder. In the background and partially out of the frame are six men and women.
