Facebook: Image published on PNG, Photo History, Taim Bipo group with the caption: "Another unknown and/or incorrectly labelled photo from the Macfarlane Collection, University of Cambridge. This one shows a man harvesting sweet potatoes and is dated 20 June 1968 and labelled "?Eastern Highlands Province; Oksapmin". Oksapmin is definitely not in the Eastern Highlands. Other photos in this sequence with the same date mention Yoliapi gardens."

"[For location a useful reference is] Gerard Ward and David Lea .. An Atlas of Papua and New Guinea, 1970, Longman and University of PNG. Maps 1, 2 a, b, c, d show the districts as they were declared prior to independence. The Sepik district was split into 'east' and 'west' in 1966, also when Chimbu was separated from Eastern Highlands. At a later time Enga was separated from Western Highlands. Much more recently the Southern Highlands had Hela carved from it and Jiwalka was carved from Western Highlands (by Robert Crittenden)." [JD 27/07/2022]
