Five Australian colonial officials and one local official talking in a circle, with a large group of local people looking on in the background. Taking place at Nuku airstrip. Besides McCarthy, the bearded official on the extreme right is identified in the inscription [and that of T.68806] as HF Sabben, Patrol Officer. [Mark Elliott, 10/03/04]
