Description

Sago production in this part of the Sepik is a women’s chore whereas in other parts, men and women work together to produce sago. Men pulp the pit and women wash the sago. Here in Yereno, as in other places in the Sepik, women are the ones who make sago [Andrew Moutu 20/02/04].
