Description
Patricia Townsend in the company of a woman and child, walking along a pathway, probably between the village and the hamlet. The woman in the foreground is dressed with shell necklaces and is wearing a grass skirt made from sago palm leaves and coloured in plant dyes. She is carrying something, probably some food, such as sago, in the container in her hands. The container is made from limbum palm tree. The people around the Wogamus area speak a language called Bahinemo. [Andrew Moutu 20/02/04]
