Description

Three men [standing] and a ?woman [sitting], in three canoes, lashed together underneath a platform to form a raft. A fourth, larger red-hulled canoe, its stern built to accommodate an out-board engine, is being poled alongside the raft by two other men. A fifth canoe with a sun-shade and an outboard engine is moored to the riverbank at the top right of the picture. [Mark Elliott 12/03/04]
