Description
Interior of a southern Ikwerre house adorned with eight decorated glazed? plates inset into the wall, a raised platform with an ancestral shrine in the right hand corner, ceremonial? pots, glass bottles, a wooden box, and an enamel bowl either on the floor or a shelf. In the foreground is a raffia mat on a raised platform, probably a bed?. The wall appears to be treated with a mud and cement wash.
