Description

An Acholi Initiation Circuit of the ‘Man who wears feather circuit’, consisting of a central man with a large drum circled by ten men holding small drums in their left hands and curved playing stick in their right hands. Seven of the men wear head circlets with feathers attached, and the rest of the men have bare heads. All of the men wear pelts as kilts. In the foreground is a post topped with a ball of possibly feathers?.
