Group: No information has been found on the term ‘Baruanda’, but the term ‘Ba’ (tribe of) ‘Ruanda’ probably refers to Ruanda-Urundi, which was a Belgian suzerainty and UN trust territory until 1962 when it became the independent states of Rwanda and Burundi.
