Description
‘Dance of Amaquetta’ [sic Amanguba] performed after the completion of the circumcision rites. A row of male youths dressed in grass skirts, their heads concealed by conical grass full head masks, and their bodies coated in white clay, all carry sticks in their right hands. Men, wrapped in blankets and wearing head bands, sit on the ground in the foreground watching the performance. In the background a hut is just visible to the left and hills are in the background.
