Description

An older woman using a stone and wooden block to crack palm kernels, with a bowl of nuts on the ground to her left, and a basket of kernels on the ground to the right. The woman has extensive cicatrisation on her face, and wears a neck ornament, and probably a beadwork fringe. In the background are a group of women (heads cropped by the frame).
