Description
Ninth Moon pilgrimage to Tua Pek Kong or Da Bo Gong Temple (龟屿大伯公宫) at Pulau Kusu (Kusu Island), Singapore during autumn 1950. [Elliott's listing]
In the centre front, on the ground is a heap of printed fu (符, charm papers) with wisps of smoke coming from them. Behind the papers, an older woman (cropped by the frame) stands wearing dark trousers and a blouse with a handbag over her left arm. [EB 13/03/2018]
