Interior of the room for ‘kings’ in the Tomb of Saadiens, a seventeenth century Moslem family tomb decorated with Moorish ornamental work of interlacing and interweaving geometric arabesques. Stone caskets are set into the floor in foreground.

P.52889.RDG to P.52908.RDG came from envelope now numbered C235/3/ which was found inside envelope C235/. The latter
came from wooden drawer I.
Biographical Information: Marcelin Flandrin was Frenceh, born after 1889, died after 1957. He went to Morocco in 1912 for military service, later returning to settle in Casablanca and establish a photographic studio. In 1922 he took a series of photographs on Marseilles, the houses of Morocco. Flandrin became one of the most important editors of postcards of Morocco.
