P.51159.ACH2 to P.51162.ACH2 were in envelope now numbered C215/1/9/ which was in C215/1/. The latter was found inside C215/ which came from wooden drawer V.
The prints P.51101.ACH2 to P.51240.ACH2 are described by Marguerite Milward in an accomapnying list which she sent to Kathleen Rishbeth in February 1950. See archive reference. Milward’s book “Artist in Unknown India” gives an account of the tribes and the regions in these photographs.
