Description

Cairo street scene with men and two donkeys in the street. The buildings are tall and have overhangs on the upper floors. At the end of the street is a minaret of a mosque. A wooden platform covers the street at the far end. There are gas lamps on the shop fronts and men are walking and browsing, two with laden donkeys and all wearing turbans or head coverings.
