Description
Studio profile portrait of a Berber man with both arms in front of him holding qaraqib (metal instruments resembling double castanets which are held two to each hand. They are used in Berber music). The large tear in his right hand sleeve can be clearly seen, as can the collar of his white undergarment.
The painted backdrop is faint, but has a square topped plinth on the left of the photo and foliage on the right hand side.
