P.49940.ACH2. to P.50013.ACH2. were found in envelope now marked C210/6/. This was found in another envelope now marked C210/ which came from the wooden drawer 1.

Place: The Place field was previously recorded as being "Africa; North East Africa; ?Sudan", but the photograph is part of a series of images from the Nuba Mountains in northern Sudan. The Place field has been amended accordingly. [JD 10/6/2009]

Date: The photograph is part of a series of images probably taken in the 1930s based on the European women’s dress and hair styles in images P.49964.ACH2 and P.49979.ACH2. [JD 10/6/2009]

Place: The Place field was previously recorded as being "NE Africa; Sudan; Northern Sudan; Kordofan Province; Nuba Mountains; Jebel Daier", but matching it to the duplicate lanternslide LS.140754.TC1 shows that it relates to E Africa; South Sudan; Didinga Mountains; Leyra Hills [Ango-Egyptian Sudan; Sudan].
