P.49910.ACH2. to P.49936.ACH2. were found in envelope now marked C210/4/. This was found in another envelope now marked C210/ which came from the wooden drawer 1.
Cultural Group: The Nandi are a cultural group, with the language being a dialect of Kalenjin, and a place of Kenya. Dorobo is an alternative name for Okiek, a cultural group of Kenya. ‘Ndorobo’ is a noww deemed a derogatory cover term for several small hunter or forest groups of Kenya, not linguistically related (El Molo, Yaaku, Okiek, Omotik, Aasax). Photographer: The handwriting on the reverse of the prints P.49897.ACH2. to P.49909.ACH2. is the same as the series P.49848.ACH2. to P.49875.ACH2, which has been provisionally assigned to J.H.Driberg, and the dates circa 1912 - 1921.
