Description

Interior of house showing a pelamin (dais constructed for marriage ceremony) displaying three marriage pillows standing upright in a row. Each pillow has a central, richly embroidered design, framed by a black border and a larger white border. On top of them are smaller embroidered pillows or bolsters.
In front of the pillows are two candlesticks, one holding a candle. On the dais is a woven ?pandanus mat. Next to the ensemble is a set of patterned drapes.
Seated in front of the dais are a man, woman and child. [LC 7/2/2007]
