The prints P.36561 to P.36571 were found in an envelope now marked C104/1/, inside the envelope now marked C104/. This was in the wooden drawer numbered IV.

Expedition: P.36561 to P.36571 are all of the Nambudri community in Kerala, and were taken for Iyer’s survey, and subsequently published in two volumes in 1909 and 1912, as “The Cochin Tribes and Castes”. The photographs can be dated between 1900-1910. [Sudeshna Guha, 2003]
