View of the revetment trench area on the upper side of the central spine before complete excavation. Note the signs of the turk backing to the revetment in the section and also the pile of upcast from the revetment trench on the old ground surface". See Bibliography.

Paul Ashbee ordered and catalogued these lantern slides in 1998. This lantern slide was kept in container marked C38/. by the cataloguer. The numbering system referred to in the "Other no’s" field was given by Ashbee, and his description is transcribed in the "Description" field.
