The paper envelope in which this photograph was found has been numbered C5/ by the cataloguer, and it was formerly kept in wooden drawer V.

A certificate issued to Bendall by the Congress of Orientalis (at Rome) and a shopping list in Hutton’s hand (19/1/1899) was found from this envelope.
Lechemere Oertel donated these photographs, alhtough the envelope containing them query Ridgeway.
