The negative was found inside wallet now numbered C252/6/ which was found inside the wooden box now marked as C252/.

Record updated during Getty Grant Program One.

Place: Evans visited Meiktila during his second trip to Burma in 1924 to visit friends in the Burmese Rifles, which was training there. In his autobiography he only mentions the lake near the training grounds where he caught tiny crabs (see The years Behind Me, p. 479).
